1. What is the Asian Festival on Main?

The Asian Festival on Main is a free, family-friendly event celebrating Asian heritage through food, arts, crafts, education, and performances. It takes place in the heart of Old Town Fairfax City.

2. When and where is the festival held?

The festival is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., along Main Street in Old Town Fairfax, VA.

3. Is there an admission fee?

No, the festival is free and open to the public.

Absolutely! The festival offers various children’s activities, making it a perfect outing for families.

Getting There & Parking

5. What are the parking options?

Public parking is available at the Old Town Village Parking Garage (3925 Chain Bridge Road) and the Judicial Center Parking Garage B (10577-10553 Page Avenue).  For more infro, go to Parking section

6. Are there shuttle services?

Yes, free and accessible shuttle buses (CUE bus) will run from Fairfax High School (3501 Lion Run) from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Map is here.

7. Will there be road closures?

Yes, Main Street between Chain Bridge Rd and East Streets and University Drive between North St. and Sager Ave will be closed from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

Festival Activities

8. What can attendees expect at the festival?

The festival features over 60+ Asian food vendors and food trucks, 60+ local and artisanal vendors, cultural performances, a cosplay contest, karaoke, a beer garden, and children’s activities. 

9. Who are the featured performers?

Notable performers include ESKM, a Korean-American R&B artist based in Seoul, and Toshi, a Japanese-Chinese rapper and cosplay contest judge. Check out the performer list

10. What types of food will be available?

A diverse range of Asian cuisines, including Thai, Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and more, will be offered by various vendors and food trucks. Check out the vendor list.

11. Are there vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, many vendors will provide vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes.

12. Will there be beverages available?

Yes, the Hollywood Casino Beer Garden will offer a selection of beers, and other vendors will provide non-alcoholic beverages like bubble tea and smoothies.

14. Is the festival accessible for individuals with disabilities?

15. Are pets allowed?

Pets are kindly discouraged at the festival, except for service animals.

Yes, a first aid station will be located at intersaction at Main Street and University Drive.
